Japanese scientists design mind-reading robots
Japanese scientists are preparing to develop "mind-reading" robots and consumer electronics that can be controlled by thought. Such devices are expected to include television sets, mobile phones, car navigation systems and air-conditioners. The futuristic devices will likely use brain-machine interface technology in sensor-mounted headsets to analyze brain waves and blood-flow patterns.
