Application like LookTel is not only useful in emergencies but acts like an artificial eye for the visually impaired. LookTel is a mobile application which runs on compatible Windows Mobile Smartphones and allows the blind or visually impaired to recognize and identify objects instantly with the cell phone’s camera. Users can record and capture the images via the phone’s camera. Other than that, the blind can also get remote sighted assistance from third party via the cell phone camera and the LookTel application.
